2009-2010
Our research team will work in conjunction with Professor Pezzoli, Source-44, and Wakeland to assess the carbon footprint of the Los Vecinos housing complex. The Los Vecinos carbon footprint analysis will account for 3 scopes of carbon emissions: 1. Direct emissions 2. Purchased electricity 3. Other indirect emission, which include, delivery of goods and services, employee commuting and business travel. Building footprint analysis will also be conducted. This will include building components, construction and photovoltaic panels. Upon completion of data collection, a material datasheet will be composed and presented to display the various contributors of carbon.
