“It [the housing/financial crisi] pulled back the curtain on the unsustainable nature of our growth - how supposedly “affordable” homes built in new neighborhoods turned out not to be affordable at all, because of the distended nature of our metro areas and the mismatch between where people live and where jobs are located.
