Spatial Assignment Update

Dear Students,

Regarding your spatial (GIS) assignment, a number of issues came up during the last class before holiday break. Taking student feedback into account we decided to make the spatial assignment optional this year. Having said this, it is still required this year if you want your Urban Expo poster printed for free by Tracey Hughes at the Library. Moreover, as an incentive, anyone who successfully completes the certificate program Tracey Hughes set up for our class will get 5 points of extra credit next quarter (applied toward your grade for USP 187). If you have any questions about this, please bring them up during class on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
