Regional Summaries of State and Tribal Issues and Priorities for the 2006-2011 Strategic Plan Revision
The Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) directs all Federal agencies and departments in the course of the development of their triennial strategic plans to solicit and consider the views and suggestions of those entities potentially affected or interested in these plans. Since states and tribes are major partners with EPA in environmental protection, the Agency is very interested in learning about their views and concerns in connection with the 2006 revision of its Strategic Plan.
To this end, EPA regional offices were asked to consult with their state and tribal partners about issues/priorities that are important to them as the Agency moves forward with its Strategic Plan revision. After this consultation, regional offices prepared brief summaries of the concerns highlighted by the states and tribes in their regions for consideration by the Agency in its deliberations on the Strategic Plan revision.
