Every year, during mid-March, the Urban Studies and Planning program hosts a widely attended Urban Expo (Open House). The Urban Expo is a showcase of Senior Research Projects (SRPs). The event gets good news and media coverage. The projects on display examine a range of San Diego- and Tijuana-based issues including urban and regional planning, new urbanism, architecture and design, transportation, health and human services, environmental management, and community development. You can access info on these SRPs and earlier projects on our class web site (click here for the Expo archive)
