• Student team could review draft plan and compare to actions of peer cities. 
• Research how best to avoid duplication of effort and create effective plans to meet regional greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets:  Review work by USD- EPIC, SANDAG, County of San Diego, City of San Diego, City of Chula Vista, and the San Diego Foundation.  What role should each have?  Should each city be doing its own inventory? 
• City Planning will be assisting the Environmental Services Dept in the public outreach component of the CPAP.  Research how to merge traditional outreach techniques with new innovations, and help conduct the public outreach.
• Use GIS to track progress as a result of sustainability initiatives.  Could involve: tracking GHG reductions, solar installations and perhaps other data. Track stimulus funds investments.
