A student researcher could gather a compendium of past research, reports, maps, and other resources about the Tijuana River Valley in an online repository. The student could then use these resources write a report using the TJ River Valley as a model for understanding how agencies do or do not communicate their findings to each other. Preliminary work in this area is available in the “Resources” section at http://www.tjriverteam.org.
The results of such research will help the more than 30 agencies that collaborate with the Tijuana River Valley Recovery Team to better understand the state of land ownership, past projects, responsibilities and other issues germane to the watershed and region.
