Student Portfolios File Management

We have created web resources to help you select a topic for your Senior Research Project (SRP).  Below are instructions how to register to the web site and begin creating your Senior Research Portfolio.

1) Visit the Senior Sequence Class website and click on the “Grand Challenges” link.  http://www.seniorsequence.net

2) Click on the “Register” link on the top right side of the Grand Challenges section of the Senior Sequence Class website.

3) Fill in all required information, check the terms of service check box and click submit.

4) Check your email for confirmation and account activation link. 

5) Click back to the senior sequence website and the grand challenges link, then enter your login information on the sidebar login area and login. 

6) After logging in, click the “Your Control Panel” link on the top right side of the window.

7) To publish your Research Portfolio, Scroll over the “Publish” tab on left side of window, and select “My Research Portfolio”.

8) Enter a Title for your thesis, select an Area of Concentration, and enter any keywords associated with thesis. 

9) Click Save on the top right side of interface.

10) Check your portfolio page on the grand challenges site by going back to the Grand Challenge section of the class website and click on the sidebar link for 2009-2010 for “Research Projects by Student Name”.

11) To Edit your Portfolio, Click on the “Your Control Panel” link and then the edit tab.  Select your portfolio entry and edit the information as needed and click “Save”
